I was visiting friends in DC, and we were going to go to a different place for lunch that ended up being packed. This just happened to be the next place we came across, and what do you know, they had pizza. The service here was AMAZING, perfectly catering to our slightly hungover state. Our booth was Shakira themed. There were outlets under the table. This place really came through in the clutch.
The small pepperonis were more than enough for me. The crust was thin, kind of like your typical bar pizza. The cheese and sauce were light and didn’t have too distinct of a flavor. Again, the pepperonis were the star, picking up the slack- they were piled on thick and plentiful. Once we were full, my friends and I just kind of chilled and snacked on the pepperoni. Locals (aka someone who found my instagram and commented on it) say that the prosciutto/fig/honey pizza is super good, but I don’t really mess with fancy pizza too much.
