Big Mario’s Pizza – Capitol Hill, Seattle, WA

big mario's pizza

On my last night in Seattle, we wanted an easy dinner since my friends and I were flying back to Boston later on. Thankfully, Big Mario’s Pizza has a location in Capitol Hill where we were staying, so we ordered a large cheese pizza and salad to share.

First, my thoughts on the salad: none. I didn’t eat it. No salads on vacation, remember? Our classic cheese from Big Mike’s Pizza was a pretty solid New York style pie. The crust was thin and crispy with a bit of a flop. The pizza wasn’t extremely greasy and the sauce was seasoned well. I do wish there was a little more cheese on the pizza. That was remedied by the crushed red pepper flakes and grated Parmesan that Big Mario’s Pizza thoughtfully included for us. This pizza isn’t you would specifically travel across the country for, but it was great for our low key friend dinner. I’d definitely get it next time I’m in Seattle and try to get a better photo. #keepingitreal
